22nd June 2016
Today I received notification that my application for my EFIAP has been successful (EFIAP Excellence of the Federation International Del Art Photographique)
This follows on from the AFIAP (AFIAP Artist) I gained two years previously, I was undecided at the time if to progress further but after a small break I pushed on to achieve the relevant requirements by October 2015.
The FIAP application is a long process as you can only apply once a year, in the case of the UK the process starts around November with the final submissions required to be completed by 31st March, so I’ve had a bit of a wait this time round.

The criteria for EFIAP IS as follows;

A minimum of 250 salon/exhibition acceptances
A minimum of 50 different images
Images in 30 different salons/exhibitions
To cover 20 different countries (only 15% [37images] can come from any one country
10% of acceptances [25] must be gained as prints instead of digital

My results in achieving the EFIAP award were;

255 salon/exhibition acceptances
57 different images
36 different salons/exhibitions
32 different countries

Below is a selection of images that helped me achieve my goal
