Les purchased his first camera just over a decade ago, it wasn't long before his work was featured in various publications including Landscape Photographer of the Year and Black and White Magazine’s Photographer of the Year.
Other successes include various awards in UK and International photography exhibitions together with solo exhibitions, one of those being at the fashionable Victoria Quarter in Leeds. Recently Les's images were selected for the prestigious London Salon of Photography with an award of a salon medal, accepted in the Association of Photographers Exhibition and at the 152nd Edinburgh International Photographic Exhibition he awarded the blue badge for best author.

Les produces images that portray a personal vision, covering numerous subjects such as landscapes, cityscapes, portraits, fashion, equine, architecture, sport and much more both in colour and monochrome.

Personal achievements for his photography are a first class BA Hons Degree in Photography, an Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS), Excellence of the Federation International Del Art Photographique (EFIAP)and a Distinction of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (DPAGB)

A little extra about Les, originally from Harrogate North Yorkshire, his early years were spent enjoying sport, football and squash were his main passions, along with his wife he also has a love of travel, specially the Far East experiencing the all the senses and cultures it offers, but most of all the enjoyment of their food. Other pleasures in life are simple, along with meal and wine long walks the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
